The season of Easter is a time to celebrate new life and resurrection. The stone has been rolled away, the tomb has been opened, and Christ is risen! And yet, in our lives, while not yet in full, resurrection often comes to us in quieter ways. Like a garden, much of the life God is growing in us happens slowly, beneath the surface, often before we can see it.
During this half-day retreat, we’ll enter the Easter story through the lens of a garden. We’ll consider the rhythms of planting, waiting, tending, and pruning in preparation for new life as invitations to notice the ways God is at work in our own lives. We'll have space to reflect on what has been buried, what is beginning to take root, and where we are seeing signs of new life.
Together, we’ll make room not only to notice what God is growing, but to celebrate it. Because resurrection invites us to become people who pay attention to life—to recognize the small and ordinary ways God is bringing something new into being and to give thanks for what is already blooming.
We will provide coffee, tea, and light snacks. Bring a journal, pen, and water bottle. Registration is required, and space is limited. The space has indoor spots for reflection and ample outdoor space. Feel free to bring a camp chair or picnic blanket to sit on!

We don’t want finances to be a barrier to retreat. For that reason, all of Shiloh’s offerings are free, made possible by the generosity of those who believe in this mission. If you have the means, we invite you to make a donation so that together we can continue creating accessible spaces for rest, encounter, and reorientation.
